Availability & Interests
Each group has time commitment, before fair, for participation. Some have rehearsal times, and some require personal time to research history and skills. Almost all will require you to create or modify clothing to fit the groups costuming requirements.
There might be costs associated with your participation that you should understand at the start. Please consider this in your decision to participate. Different groups listed above have different costs.

Groups that are unlisted are not recruiting new members this year.  

Courts:

Blue Court is based on the ethnically and culturally diverse societies of the Iberian Peninsula in the 15th century. A mischievous blend of history and mythology where the only goal is lifelong joy.

Green Court is  the Tudor inspired court whose goal is to make friendly mischief; evil with a smile. 

Red Court - Red Court is set during the heart of the Renaissance period in Venice, Italy. We embody all that is just and good in the world: beauty, grace, chivalry, patience, and kind-hearted nature make their home here. 

Groups:

Alchemist holds the Fair's magicians and the Krakow Puppet Theater, as well as being the home of Hillshire Magistrate Pan Piotr Urbankski, site of fair voting and locus of the merchant class 

Crimson Dove Inn is a historical gaming establishment, focusing on teaching dice, card, and board games from the 1700s and earlier. Viva Las Dove! 

Fight Guild Fight Guild is a group of mercenaries teaching about the history of organized warfare and providing support for the theatrical violence of Fight Show 

Messenger Guild a fantasy based group that delivers messages around fair, performs music and teaches about myths in history, 

Twisted Tadpole is a Children’s Tavern with merriment, drinks, snacks, games, prizes, and a puppet show

Partner Groups:

HRG recreates life in England circa 1388

SCA, or Society for Creative Anachronism, is an international non-profit educational organization dedicated to the research and re-creation of pre-17th century history and culture through hands-on activities, events, and a variety of arts and skills - 

What is your general availability/time commitment available?
Are you available for all the fair dates of fair (first two full weekends in June, open 12-8 pm)?
